We have tutors from over 40 different countries who are all bilingual. We believe it's important for our tutors to understand the process of learning a second language. While we offer native English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin tutors, our selection is based on tutoring experience and passion for education, not nationality.

What languages can I learn with TUTEEMI?

TUTEEMI focuses on tutoring Spanish, English, French, and Mandarin. However, because our tutors are bilingual, we've also helped tutees learn other languages like Vietnamese, Russian, Japanese, and more.

How do I choose the right tutor for me?

After consulting with a specialist, the TUTEEMI team will match the best tutor based on the tutee's learning needs and location.

What if I’m not satisfied with my tutor?

If you’re not happy with your tutor, you can try another tutor until you find the right match. Our support team is here to guide you through the process.

Can I change tutors if I'm not satisfied?

Yes, if your current tutor isn’t the right fit, you can request a change at any time. Our goal is to ensure you have the best learning experience with a tutor you’re comfortable with.

Can I schedule lessons at any time?

Yes, our tutors offer flexible scheduling, allowing you to book lessons at times that work best for you.

How do online classes work?

Online classes are conducted via video call, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your home. You’ll receive a link to join the session, and all you need is a stable internet connection and a device with a camera.

What materials are needed for the classes?

Most classes include materials provided by TUTEEMI and selected by the tutor based on the tutee’s needs. Additional resources may be recommended by the tutor for specific courses or preferences.

Can tutoring sessions be customized to my learning goals?

Absolutely! Our tutors tailor lessons to meet your specific goals, whether it's improving conversational skills, preparing for exams, or learning for business purposes.

How long is the trial class?

A trial class lasts around 45 minutes (an hour). Regular classes have a minimum duration of 1.5 hours once per week for 6 weeks, with online classes having a minimum of 1 hour. Some tutors may be flexible depending on the tutee’s age and schedule.

Can I have more than one trial class?

Yes, our successful matching rate is 98%, but if you don't connect with your first tutor, we'll arrange a second trial class with a different tutor. (If you are not satisfied with the first tutor, you can rebook with a new tutor as many times as you feel is necessary.)

How long does it take to be matched with a tutor?

Matching time depends on our waiting list and your location, with an average wait of less than 5 days. We strive to find the perfect tutor for each tutee, so it might take a bit longer if we don't have an immediate match.

What is the cancellation policy for classes?

You can cancel or reschedule classes up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class time may be subject to a cancellation fee. (Once the class is secured, if you need to postpone a class, the team will help you reschedule it. However, if you no longer wish to continue with the current tutor, TUTEEMI will arrange a new tutor for you to complete the remaining class hours.)

What qualifications do your tutors have?

Our tutors are selected based on their 2+ years of tutoring experience, qualifications, and passion for helping tutees succeed. We carefully review each tutor’s profile and background to ensure quality tutoring services.

What is the cancellation policy for classes?

How do I pay for tutoring sessions?

We accept bank transfers and online payments (for overseas tutees, we also accept payments via PayPal), making it easy and convenient for you to pay for your sessions.

Do I get a refund?

Refunds are available within the first two weeks of classes. After this period, refunds are not provided. (Refunds for unused classes are applicable with a 72-hour advance notice prior to the scheduled class. However, the refund amount will be subject to a 35% deduction from the total price. Once the refund process is completed, the amount will be recorded as points in the system. These points can only be used for class sessions with a new tutor or new trial classes and will expire in 6 months.)
